In her role as curator, Johnson has created a monthly series that over a year’s time will extend an opportunity for 13 other artists or artist collectives to contribute to the unfolding dialogue about place in the South Waterfront neighborhood. These artists work across a diverse range of media and regularly extend their practices outside of traditional presenting environments. First Saturdays of each month, 11a-1p, will be the chance to meet that month’s guest artist and to hear about their plans for working at the South Waterfront.
